The point is not that machine-free work is better (sometimes it will be worse—rougher, less polished, more uncertain). The point is that it is hers—it carries authority of a person who has listened to her own inner teacher rather than accepting the machine's confident suggestion as substitute for her own tentative truth. When she then brings that truth to collaboration with AI, the collaboration produces something neither party could produce alone: her authority, amplified by the machine's capability.
Palmer insists genuine courage cannot be taught directly; it can only be evoked—called forth from the person who already possesses it but has been trained by fear and culture to keep it hidden. The circle of trust does not install courage in participants; it creates conditions in which courage already present can emerge from hiding and act.
