The thing that made me most uncomfortable in this entire project was not the philosophy of loss or the data on burnout. It was a single question I could not answer.

If AI amplifies whatever you bring to it — and I believe it does, with terrifying fidelity — then where did what I bring come from?

I kept saying it throughout *You On AI*: the quality of the signal matters. Bring depth, get depth. Bring carelessness, get carelessness at scale. The amplifier does not filter. It carries whatever you feed it. And the moral imperative follows — be worth amplifying.

But Pierre Bourdieu would not let me rest there.
