That is what it cost me, in API fees, to generate the first draft of a contract my lawyer would have billed four hours for. Twelve pages. Clean language. Standard clauses. My lawyer found two issues — a jurisdictional nuance and a liability provision that was technically correct but strategically unwise given the specific counterparty. Two catches out of twelve pages. Ninety-eight percent right, for less than the price of a coffee.
