The confession I almost cut from the book was the one that mattered most.

In *You On AI*, I describe a night over the Atlantic — writing compulsively, unable to stop, the exhilaration long gone and something harder grinding in its place. I wrote that the muscle had locked. That I had confused productivity with aliveness. I kept the passage because honesty demanded it. But I did not have a name for what was underneath.
