The body keeps score. That phrase belongs to a different book about a different kind of trauma, but it is the phrase that surfaced when I tried to articulate what Alva Noë's philosophy did to my understanding of the past year.

I had been measuring everything in outputs. Lines of code shipped. Products launched. Chapters written. The twenty-fold productivity multiplier I describe in *You On AI*. The thirty-day sprint to CES. The ten-hour flight where I drafted a hundred-and-eighty-seven pages. Every metric pointed upward. Every metric confirmed that the tools were working, that the collaboration with Claude was producing something real, that the imagination-to-artifact ratio had collapsed to the width of a conversation.
